Reports to: Engineering Manager Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwork Production Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing Microvellum software and will play a key role in our millwork production process. As a Millwork Production Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of duties to ensure the efficient and high-quality production of millwork products.

Microvellum Software Proficiency: Utilize Microvellum software to design, develop, and optimize millwork projects.

Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to determine project requirements, specifications, and deadlines.

Design and Drafting: Create detailed millwork shop drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and assembly instructions using Microvellum.

Material and Component Selection: Identify appropriate materials, hardware, and other components required for each project, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure all millwork products meet company standards and client expectations.

Production Support: Work closely with the production team to provide technical guidance and resolve any issues that may arise during manufacturing.

Documentation: Maintain organized records of project drawings, revisions, and communications to ensure traceability and compliance.

Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve the Engineering processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and meet project deadlines.

Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to millwork, Microvellum, and woodworking technology advancements.

Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience as a Millwork Production Engineer or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microvellum software is essential.
  • Previous experience in millwork design, engineering, or a related field is a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of millwork materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings and documentation.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
